Hey everyone! We just got back from a tournament in Aiken, South Carolina. We came back 3-1, with one conference win against Augusta State. We left Montevallo on Thursday afternoon and headed to the University of South Carolina at Aiken. Friday morning we woke up and had a great breakfast at the hotel and the headed to the gym. First, we played Augusta State for a conference matchup. We were a little slow but we beat them 3-1. We then had two hours to rest before taking the court against King College. We put up a tough fight but lost 1-3. It was then back to the hotel for a good night rest. Saturday morning we first took the court against Coker College. With a lot of energy and intensity, we beat them 3-0. It was then time to take on Palm Beach Atlantic for our last match of the tournament. It was an awesome game for both the fans and the players. Everyone played awesome and the energy and spirit on the court was amazing. We beat them 3-0. Everyone was excited about the weekend and glad that “the falcons are back.” We survived our month of traveling and everyone is really excited to be at home for the next two weeks.
